[CRASH] directly after champion select game goes black and freezes in loading then crashes

For whatever reason this new update won't let me play. I just wanted to try out Kalista in a bot match last night but the game would crash and just sit there unable to let me do anything or even alt+tab out. I come back on today and find some bullshit saying I abandoned the game and I have to agree not to do it again. The fuck kinda presumptuous shit is this I've never abandoned a game. I try to get another game today and I'm greeted with the same problem just pissing me off more. What do I do
