Patch 8.12 - Endless Update

Hello, When I opened the game (client) today, and window popped up telling me to update and restart the client, when I did that, the client closes up and this update window appear, I waited for a while and as you can see, it went to 134 MG out of 12.9 MB ?? and it's still going, it's like it doesn't finish at all, here is what I tried and didn't help:

  • Used Hextech tool to fix patches and problems ---> Failed, Same Issue
  • Used DNS as 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 ---> Failed, Same Issue
  • Opened the client as administrator ---> Failed, Same Issue
  • Restarted the PC --->** Failed, Same Issue **
  • Waiting it to update again, it reached ETA - 20Mins and still going ---> Again, Didn't help
  • Reinstalling ---> Failed, Still Same Issue

What can I do? beleive me i've tried everything!

I'm having the same issue on patch 8.12.

I'm having this same issue with patch 9.4. from what i see in previous forum posts this has been happening to people for years and riot hasn't once announced a fix to this issue. some people are even reinstalling the game and still getting this issue?? i guess ill reinstall mine anyways. hopefully that fixes it...
