Thresh Bug

Hi Riot In my previous gave I was playing Anivia mid and I was being chased by a thresh and a Kalista back to my mid turret. I used Glacial storm into my E in order to kill thresh, but after I killed him his hook still hit me giving Kalista the kill. Is this a bug and is it occurring with other players? Please respond.
