Friend Status Issues

So some of my friends may be in a game 25 minutes in or something and I know that because I can spectate and see that but I can only find out that by spectating because when i hover over their name it just says -:- like the game hasn't started yet or something. Also one time I had a friend that was in a game and it said ARAM(Ranked) which greatly confused me. I know these are minor insignificant bugs but it is something.
