Mac OSX Yosmite Upgrade - Start Game Screen Fails

After upgrading to Mac OS X Yosmite I am having problems with the start of games. I can login fine and choose a character but once the games starts and you go to the holding screen that shows you for the first time all 10 champions that are playing, that screen is blank. It is either white or a whole bunch of crazy patterns and colors. See 2 snapshots. I then continue to disconnect and reconnect and I can finally reconnect and see everything after the game has started. I usually miss the first 2 minutes of play. ;-(

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

League runs fine on my Mac with Yosemite, but sometimes there are small problems with games when switching to full screen mode using an external monitor.

Hmm. Mine runs fine with the OS. What's your hardware? The last few versions of OS X have been getting more famously incompatible with old hardware. My fiancee's laptop, for example, has SERIOUS issues with unallocating RAM after upgrading to Mavericks because it wasn't designed to work with her older computer.
