This is ridiculous [Client][TFT][Crashes]
I recently reinstalled league to play TFT with my friends (I played some autochess and enjoyed it, so I thought I'd give it a try). For the most part, the game is great, except for one, inexcusably bad bug; at random, in game or out, the league game/client will freeze and soft crash my PC. When I say soft crash I mean it cuts my sound, forces my mouse to stop working, and makes many other apps unresponsive for quite some time. I'm playing on a decent laptop, and the touchpad still works, but even then most other features become unresponsive. And don't get me started on what happens when I try to force quit the game through task manager (if I can even get that far). It will often refuse to close, and even make task manager unresponsive. Once, the client kept reopening itself as soon as I closed it. Often my only recourse is to shut off my PC. But EVEN THEN, IM NOT FREE OF ITS TRIPE. When I try to turn my PC off, it never actually turns off. It gets stuck on a black screen, fans still running, humming gently, and I don't want to force it off cause sometimes that makes it worse.
Basically, the league of legends game and client is unforgivably, inexcusably, and ridiculously broken and poorly made. And I have exactly no way to tell when it will fail, because it is utterly random. Sometimes it failed while changing rounds in TFT, or in the middle of a match. Others, I'll be trying to look at my collection (not in game or anything), and it will freeze, refuse to force close, and make everything unresponsive. Literally no other game has ever done anything this bad, this often on my PC. The next closest was DS2, which occasionally crashed my PC when I closed it. DS3 didn't do that, nor Sekiro.
If anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it. Especially if it's not another "update your driver's and check your settings and blah blah blah". What did you think I did first? I'm stuck on a very serious problem, not incompetent
