Threw a snowball then GAME crashed and doesn't show reconnect button in CLIENT

I was playing Snow Battle ARURF and my game crashed and I couldn't reconnect. I threw my snowball to bot to help my teammate out but once i hit the snowball and reactivated it, my game said "Reconnecting". So, i exited the game and looked for the reconnect button but it wasn't there. I tried restarting my client but it still didn't pop up thus leading to my teammates having an AFK on their team with no chance of reconnecting.
