Champ Select/Post-Game Board Delay

During the Champ Selection process and the post game screen everything is significantly delayed. I am able to log in and navigate the client just fine until the actual champ selection comes up. Then there is a remarkable delay. Chatting to teammates, selecting who i intend to play and worst of all, pickign and banning a champ. Sometimes its not an issue except and annoyance, other times its caused me to be kicked from lobbies because I can't pick a champion in time.
