Client bug on the non-updated client

So I was on the old client and I was in game queue for a long time so I decided to cancel the queue and make a new one. This didn't work and instead it told me that I couldn't leave the queue when I'm in champion select, but I wasn't in champion select, and then when I got in a new queue again it told me that I had to wait 5 minutes and after the 5 minutes, the same thing happened again, but now I have to wait 13 minutes, and I'm in the wait time right now. I don't know why this is happening, any ideas?
