The Mute button is broken

Please for the love of God tell me I'm not the only one experiencing this? I NEED to mute everyone if I want to keep my sanity. Every time I spawn in-game the mute icons are already muted. I mute and unmute, but I can still see chat and it's driving me crazy.

on client press the wheel icon top right, click on interface on the left, scroll down in interface to the bottom, scroll up one mouse wheel. make sure "mute ally chat" is checked. problem solved.
