Tahm Devour Bug

Today I was playing an ARAM with Tahm Kench on EUW and somewhere halfway through the game League decides I am no longer allowed to Devour my teammate fiddlesticks, who frankly i had to save quite a lot. This impacted my gameplay, and that of my team (since i couldn't save him on key moments) and is something i hope can be fixed. The thing is that when i pressed W and clicked fiddle, even as the cursor turnt green, nothing happened. This was not the case with my other teammates, or with enemies.

i'm a tahm kench main with easily over 100 games on him. i noticed this bug a few patches ago. not sure if riot will do anything about it though. from my experience it doesn't occur very often, but when it does, it really messes with gameplay.
