Game Acceptance doesn's show while in the shop

Just as the title says. Both my brother and I were in a queue while browsing the shop and the notification did not show for both of us. They only thing that did was a little window saying that one of us failed to accept the match making and that we were returned to the lobby. It did pop up for me on the first try when i was not in the shop, however my brother was and he didn't see it.
