Mord Ult Interacting with Anivia Ulti (EUW)

I recently have played some games on EUW, and during a game in which I played against a Mord, his ulti would not cancel my ulti as Anivia, but the ulti would disappear. If I re-cast it in the zone of his ulti, when his ult ends my glacial storm would likewise disappear but not cancel. Is this intentional? I don't understand how this is working as intended.

It's intentional. For all accounts, Morde's death realm is basically a parallel map. Everything that's on SR apart from the structures does not exist in the death realm. The opposite is also true. Things in the death realm do not exist on SR.

So if you have your ult out and he ults you, your ult does not follow you (the same will apply to Illaoi's tentacles or Heimer's turrets). Abilities cast on SR at the time morde ults, are kept in SR (so if you used any of your abilities at time time he ults, they will not affect him).

I think it's kinda BS that towers stay in Morde's ult area.

I think thats intentional.. its common sense, He takes you to a different REALM of existence to fight you.
