New Champion Select BUG

so i was in ranked champion select, for a reason i got an invite to another ranked game while in champion select and i accepted it, all my teammates disconnected from the chat, but i remained in the champ select, a member of the other team was picking volibear, but he did not pick, after the time for him to pick went out the client returned me to the main screen, and i tried to use the new matchmaking, when i clicked on it it just returned me to the main screen again, i tried to join a blind pick game and it said "because you abandoned a game on matchmaking or declined too many games you are currently unable to join the queque" and it gave me a 30 min penalty, this is the second time the new queque bugs in champion select while i'm in ranked, but the first time i had no idea why, now i accepted an invitation while in the queque, one last thing, i think the invitation was from someone in a chat and not from someone on my friend list sorry about my bad english, i'm not a native english speaker
