ARAM Skin Boost

I was playing ARAM with a friend and wanted to activate the Skin Boost in ARAM. It was highlighted in Bright Orange and I could click it, but when I did it wouldn't do anything. It didn't take any of my RP so that's not a problem, but now it won't let me activate it.

If anyone has a solution for this, please post it below.
