LoL minimized and never came back!

Hi guys, today I tried to start up a game of draft pick and everything was running smoothly. My launcher had no problems, but rather the actual game itself. I chose my champion and minimized the champion selection screen in order to help create a mastery for the champion I was using, but the game went onto the loading screen while I was making my mastery. The LoL logo showed up on my desktop while I closed off my Chrome tabs, and my screen turned black as if it were preparing to send me to the loading screen. It stayed black for about 3 seconds before it returned me back to the desktop. I tried to click on the LoL logo on my taskbar, and the same thing happened again. I continued to click on the logo, and my screen would turn black for the same 3 seconds, but return me back to my desktop. I right clicked on the logo and closed the window and attempted to reboot the game, but I still had the same result. I reset my computer altogether, and the same thing still happens. I can hear all the in-game sounds, but I cannot open up the window! I think I might have a ban now because I could not get back into the game that I started.

Does anyone have an idea on what's going on? Should I try to re-install LoL or is this fixable without re installation?
