Bronze 3 facing Plats

A few months ago I transferred from NA (where I was Bronze 3) to LAN for lower ping, and achieved Plat 3 on that server. When Riot announced new servers in Chicago and offered free transfers back to NA, I obliged and queued up for a ranked game on NA. Now I'm Bronze 3 facing Plats. I emailed Riot about the issue and they told me to wait 24 days (for some reason) and it would go back to normal; I waited, and queued up for a ranked game today and I'm still facing Plats so I dodged. Can anything be done about this besides waiting until the end of season because I really don't want to slow climb from Bronze having each ranked game be rather difficult.
