Irelia doesn't function

I know she's getting a rework in a couple months and all but I just played her and her e wouldn't cast half the time for no reason. And it's not my keyboard because I didn't have these issues on any other champ. I went into the practise tool and figured out how to recreate it. If you cast it right after it goes off cooldown it doesn't work.
