Queued into Game - Now Repairing Client

I just queued into a game. Banned/Picked heroes and everything was going well. The timer hit 0 and the game tried to launch.

Bugsplat.

My game kicked me to my client and now is trying to repair a lot of data.

The reason I am posting this is that I feel bad for the 9 other people I queued up with. Why can't league do a quick scan of my game files at login instead of when I go to play a game? I remember the old repair utility used to be before you logged in. Maybe its not possible now but it would be nice if there was some quick check before I went and queued into a game and unintentionally gave other players a bad time.
