Delay and odd beeping sound

For the last two weeks or so , every game i have played ive gotten this odd delay spike around the same time (5-10 minutes into the game) , my fps and ms dont change but my keyboard and mouse delay get really high and sometimes the mouse is not responsive for most of the clicks. The lag finishes withing about 30 seconds or so , maybe less, and its followed by a beeping sound coming from my headset/speakers/ Has anyone had the same issue ?
