Yi Alpha Strike

Been noticing some problems with Yi's alpha strike ability. When trying to cast it on a target that is just disappearing it causes me to just freeze in the casting animation but not actually go through with the ability. I'm then stuck momentarily.

It may just be bad lag but my ping was only around the 40 mark during gameplay and nothing else seemed out of the ordinary.
