Spontaneous Client Crash

I'm not entirely sure how to recreate this issue, but often times as I finish a game, before I queue up for another game, the client will freeze and the window will pop up saying "PVP.net Client is not responding" asking me to wait it out or close the program. This happened twice this morning after two games, and now just as I entered a queue for a ranked game. It crashed mid-champion select, and I not only was punished for dodging queue, but I had to restart my client. I'm just glad I wasn't in my promos. Any advice or fixes?
