Mordekaiser W Bug 5.18

Mordekaiser was patched in 5.18 that he can use his W on himself. But the Problem is that you dont make the aoe-damage with his w if there is no alloy in 1400 range, cause this wasnt patched after the juggernaughts patch: "Mordekaiser and Target allied champion gain 75 Movement Speed while moving toward one another. When close to one another, both deal magic damage to nearby enemies over 4 seconds." But at the end or if you reactivcate it, it still deals damage and heals you.

So, the bug is, that the damage over time only procs if an alloy is nearby.

Yes i can confirm at least that the aoe damage over time doesn't work. Was the first thing I tried in a botgame after the patch notes. hoped it would be fixed already :/

It won't be fixed, because this is what Riot intended. You don't get the AOE damage from your w as a solo laner, only the damage/heal from reactivating it.

They must really hate Morde on a solo lane if they go that far....
