Last night I was playing league perfectly fine without issues other than a couple lag spikes, due to my own actions. I opened it today with a problem, and it pops up with the league of legends symbol, but then instantly another window pops up saying PVP.net Patcher has stopped working, I have even reinstalled league to see if would correct the issue, which, unfortunately it did not. If anyone has a solution to this problem, please notify me through this post, and no I did not click on the LoL icon.

Try running it from the "lol.launcher.admin" file in the "Riot Games" folder. I was having the same problem and it worked for me. If it does work for you make a shortcut of that file and use that instead.
