Grey Play button

Dear Riot, This evening I wanted to play a game...but the play button is gray.. After trying several things people recommended on the world wide web, the button was still grey! (and no it is not due to a poor connection) I think it's a problem with your new patch because last weekend, I had no problems. Can you guys give me some more information?
