Client patcher: Unspecified error occurred

So, the order of events are as follows: While at the load screen about to play a game, my sound goes all static-y. I think it's a problem with my external sound card so I un-plug and replug its usb. Then I need to restart the client to get the sound working so I do that while the 10 of us are all loading into the game..

Then after restarting the client I get multiple errors about being disconnected and needing to reconnect... It takes a couple minutes but eventually I get into the game and play fine. After that game I close client and open it a bit later, but now I get a message saying there was a problem and had to revert my client to the older version, immediately after that message I get an error saying there was a problem updating the client and Couldn't update and to check the logs.. Then it repeats..

I decided to uninstall LOL and reinstall to try and fix it. After "removing" lol with it's uninstaller then reinstalling them again... I got the same messages. I removed everything again but noticed RADS folder won't delete despite trying several things... My guess is something in those folders (that refuse to be deleted) is messing up my client.

Also, I don't like the idea of anyone being able to put folders on my computer that I can't remove, so I'd like to know how to fix this bug, or how to remove the LOL folders permanently.. if anyone knows.
