Black Home Screen after Pool Party 2015 update

For some reason when I started up league of legends, after logging in I happen to have a black home screen. I can still play the game and the store, profile etc still has their visuals. Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't know if this is a corrupted file or something up with riot. I checked out some of the other black screens some people were having and they did not have the "play" button available however those were from 2013-2014 ._.

im with you. i dont know whats wrong but gameplay is fine, just this annoying blackscreen

Hey there!

Turn off any firewall or anti-virus programs like Windows Firewall, McAfee, etc! (Idk if I spelled that last one right)

If not, then repair it. Hope it helps!

EDIT: In case you're wondering why, sometimes anti virus programs label League as a virus and blocks certain things. I had the same problem a few months ago, turned of Windows Defender and it was fixed!
