mastery 6 token bug

So, just recently, I hit mastery 5 on and got a token in the same game. Now normally that sounds amazing, but I logged in the next day and the token wasn't there. I even looked on mastery profiler and they said I didn't have any Irelia tokens registered too. I think there may be a bug where if you hit mastery 5 and get a token in the same game you don't get the token because you weren't mastery 5 at the exact moment of receiving the token, and therefore unable to receive it. has anyone else had similar experiences?

You can't hit Mastery 5 and also get a token on the same game.

Don't be confused: When you reach Mastery 5 a message pops inviting you to keep playing into further levels of mastery. The visuals are almost identical to those you get when you are given a token, but this message is NOT a token.

Edit: I just noticed its different text from actually gaining a token its about how to get tokens. I feel dumb.
