Crashing game right after loading screen

Honest to god I don't know why this happens..As soon as the game loads up i'll be able to move for about 5 seconds then the game crashes and totally freezes my computer causing it to shut down. I re-boot my system and be lucky if I'm able to run the game without it crashing. Any help/Suggestions?
