Gnar/AI movement bug

I was Playing Gnar in a 3v3 intermediate bot game. I was on the right side of the map between the alter and the wall with the enemy nexus, just a little north of that spot. I was clicking to move to bottom lane behind the middle tower. Gnar kept running up and down stuck deciding to walk across the alter or between the alter and the wall. I'm thinking this is an AI movement glitch or something along the lines.
