currently in a game 5th player cannot connect

its an across the board thing, no individual games ever get loss prevented, from Riot;

Players will not receive loss forgiven for personal connection problems, such as issues with your router or ISP, nor will losses be forgiven for freak incidents with the client (such as bug splats).

so only for ''big'' incidents.

i.e.

Riot Server issues = loss prevented.

Everything else = not loss prevented.

its not for AFK's / connection problems.

Bump in hopes of my game between 3:30 and 4:00 AM EST NA getting loss prevented. Many posts of DC without RC at this time.

if it has not got ''loss prevented'' straight after the match in our history it will NOT gain it.
