[Gameplay] Rek' Silencing Bug?

In my last game, I top laned as Rek'Sai VS Garen. In fights, Garen would hit me with his Q silencing me and making me unable to use my ablilities, as it should. However, I would be left defenseless when burrowed because the silence made me unable to autoattack. Is this intentional? I would assume that I should be able to autoattack out of burrowing during a silence, but I should not gain the extra magic damage and knockup on the next attack. Any thoughts or feedback is, as always, appreciated.
