Shaco Stealth Bugged

When playing as Shaco my Deceive failed to place into stealth in two different games (one time in each), I believe in both instances some kind of dash move was being cast on me simultaneously as I used q, one champions was Wu Kong and i can't remember the other.

Do you mean that when the enemy casted their dash, you still took the damage after your Q?

Or that you un-stealthed right after using your Q?
