League Client doesn't appear!

l have been trying to launch League for 5 hours now. When l press to open the client my mouse indicates that it's loading then the Riot Games logo pops up for a split second and disappears. Then l open Task Manager to see if l can end the task from there and relaunch the client but it doesn't show up there. l tried running League as administrator, l tried using the Hextech Repair Tool to repatch and reinstall the game and nothing has worked. l checked the servers (EUNE) and they are online. I'm concerned if it's my PC that's the problem or if there is something going on with the client. Please help. Thank you in advance!

A guy found a solution.

SOLUTION

RiotClientServices.exe was the problem. You can fix it as follows:

Move RiotClientServices.exe out of the Riot Client directory

Start your League as usual. It will start without Riot Client, in the "old way".

Start League again. It will start to install the Riot Client as new. Once finished the problem is fixed.

You can sign in now through Riot Client.

Hope it helps anyone who encounters this problem.

Dude, I'm having your problem too. The weird part is that yesterday Lol was working perfectly. Now I have your problem and I have litteraly no clue on what to do... I tried the uninstall and install again option but nothing changed. Let me know if you find a solution!

Delete:

%LocalAppData%\Riot Games\Riot Client %ProgramData%\Riot Games %SystemDrive%\Riot Games\Riot Client (<-- This where the new client should be installed by default)

Afterwards, try running the game via "LeagueClient.exe" (Normally located in

%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Riot Games\League of Legends

%SystemDrive%\Riot Games\League of Legends.

I have been having a similar issue but my game starts fine if i search on the start menu as opposed to using the desktop shortcut or taskbar pin.

Thanks, removing the RiotClientServices.exe worked, strange that this issue happened all of a sudden today.

What version of Windows are you using? Out of curiosity... is it Windows 7?

Contact Player Support, describing your issue and what you have already tried. Proactively attach the Hextech zip.

That might be a different issue. Out of curiosity are you attempting to start the League client shortly after closing it. There is a bug where trying to start League while its shutting down fails. League also takes quite a while to shut down which makes it a bit worse...
