Bug with chat in client

When I chat with a fiend i can see he has sent messages to me but when i open the chat I cant see what he wrote, the chat blokes I cant close it i cant use it, and it is in the way of picking the roles for ranked. When i relog everything is fine but I cant use my chat. This happened after the latest update.
This is happening only when i chat with 1 of my fringes.
