Riot taking away LP for dodging

Anyone else losing LP for dodging ranked? I don't think this is fair of Riot. Even if you play your best game and carry you can't carry someone who is trolling. It's become pretty well known the only way to ensure your team mates don't feed is by dodging when you have clear trolls on your team. Sometimes the League of Legends client Is so glitchy it causes you to dodge when you did not. On multiple occasions I have lost LP because I was doing runes when either ready check came up or someone else dodged and the client froze so long it counted it as dodging the ready check. I've also had this happen in champ select my champion gets picked or banned, I try to change my champion with 12 seconds left I lock in and the client freezes...another dodge and more LP lost.

I am getting sick of this unfair mechanic to ranked. The new ranked system is garbage.

You always lose LP for dodges. This is nothing new. It's there to encourage people to not dodge as Ranked is a competitive mode.

iwoukd prefer to have at least an extra dodge i dodged a game then got stuck with a volibear mid the next game who might i add did wonderful going 2 and 8 or so lol

Youre supposed to lose LP for dodging. It's called a penalty.

Riot's even encouraged you to do dodge your first game of the day if youre held hostage in champ select, and someone is obviously trolling, since reporting them wont do anything. (Which is a whole other problem)

The amount you lose for dodging is much smaller than the amount you lose for Defeat. It's there so you don't dodge every time your lane/champion of choice is unavailable.
