Someone let the ban timer end on them and my client freezes. Close client and I lose LP from him.

This is a CLIENT bug.

I Entered a game as normal. Entered the champion select lobby. First person to ban on our team decided to let the timer run out. The client froze; all others were shown to have left the chat room. I assumed after waiting awhile that I had to close my client to re-que. I log back in to find out I was penalized for his "afk" dodge.
