Game doesnt load
game isn't loading up. Says game is in progress but wont load the game. IDK what to do. better not get reported for AFK.

i had to restart my computer just to get into a game
i believe riot updated their anti-cheat and it is buggy right now
Can confirm. Has happened to me twice in the past 5 games.
I had this issue. It appears for me atleast it was because I was playing it in windowed mode. I switched it to borderless and it seems like it is no longer happening.
If you get this bug again it's due to multiple processes of league running on your computer. To fix it should it arise again you need to open task manager, go to background tasks and end all league of legends processes, then relaunch. Also, editing your discussion title to include [Client] may give you a better chance to be noticed. Good luck!
Happened to me the other day and found a fix. Go to task manager (ctr + shift + escape) > more details:
- once here click on the process with the name League of Legends w/ the in-game icon and end task
- this will make the client give you the reconnect button
Same thing has been happening to me on Mac. Last time it happened it put me on Leaver Buster so I stopped playing for 3 years and now i'm back. The client is a lil better but i'm still running into the same problem (a little less often) but I haven't been put on Leaver Buster yet. I'm just afraid that i'll be on Leaver Buster again or get my account banned for something out of my control is my biggest fear.
I would love to know what is happening. I have now got 4 leaver games this week because it keeps happening and only in ranked. I can aram or anything else but ranked only loads maybe 1 of 5 times.
Load screen gets to 100% and then freezes i just reported the bug,
