[KNOWN ISSUE] "We're unable to log you in because you may be offline"

Supper annoying bug. Looks like it has happened in the past and been magically resolved after a couple hours. Tried the solution above but no dice.

So Riot emailed me to change DNS. "I recommend switching to a public DNS. In general, a public DNS is not only faster to access, but more secure than a private one. ( https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752664#wq5 : Video on how to do that) You will need to flush your DNS and then restart your PC afterwards. I also recommend switching to a wired connection if you are not already doing so. In general, I do not advise using wifi for online gaming, as the connection can be easily degraded and drop in quality, which using a wired connection can prevent."

Still getting the same red text. Riot asked for my logs so at this point if your experiencing the issue still I would email them. They will want you to install this repair tool https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/224826367-Automated-Troubleshooting-Hextech-Repair-Tool
