Can't change region when server is down

So I log in at 6:30 am 23rd of October. Currently there is a server maintenance going on at EUW server so obviously I can't log in. Now I want to switch to EU Nordic and East because i've been here before and I have an account there for when the server is down (this server was currently online). But since the new Launcher came out I don't get the option to change my server, it just says : '' League of legends is currently down for maintenance. Please check the server status page and try again later.'' With 1 option to click which is : '' Ok '' Well pressing ok closes the launcher automaticly leaving me with no options to change my region to an online server. Before (with the old launcher) you would be on the login page and you would only get the message when u logged in with ur password, which is the same page to change ur region. Maybe this has something to do with the new automatic logging system? It just logs me in automaticly everytime maybe this might be the reason why I get kicked out automaticly aswell?

It's not 100% a bug but I thought this was the best place to post this, sorry if it's not.

Please fix this you made a new launcher which now prevents players from playing, quite annoying to say the least.
