Avast things Leagueoflegends.exe and Lolpatcher.exe are Viruses

After getting into a team for Teambuilder, we started matchmaking, finding a match pretty quickly. However, just as the game was about to load up the loading screen, Avast pop'd up and stated that it had been blocked due to a Win32:Evo-gen [susp] whatever that is. I get the feeling I'm going to get leaverbuster for this even though I've done nothing wrong. Does anyone know what to do, and should I put this somewhere else? This is only my second time actually using the forums.

How to restore files:

Right click the avast icon in your tray and open avast user interface Click on statistics Component status Virus Chest Right click LeagueOfLegends.exe and LoLLauncher.exe and click restore and add to exclusions

Yep, also even once I removed it from the avast quarantine, the reconnect button wasn't working until I restarted. Also, thanks for making me fucking type "I Agree" not to leave any more games due to your wonderful adobe air client. That was some salt in the wound.

Happened to me as well, I tried removing the "air" folders and launcher folder in the RADS part of the League directory to force the game to patch, which it did, but the actual game still won't launch. The launcher works fine for me, but the loading screen with champ splashes/season borders never shows up. I also had to "agree" to never leave any more games....even though I didn't leave. :(

Same thing happening here. This is obviously something that just happened. I just turned avast silent and am re-downloading this game while listening to my team in vent lose a game.

I didnt receive any notification from avast, but same thing essentially, i get stuck at reconnect screen and cant get in. i tried everything, restarting computer, restarting the client, going through task manager, disabling avast. nothing, two games now where i havnt even been able to get to loading screen. worried to play more, because i dont want to be punished for it.

Same as the above. I get punished because of the issue with Avast and the client. I don't think I've ever intentionally left a game in my entire play- now I risk a ban if there's so much as an issue with the wi-fi, a storm, ect. Don't get me wrong- leavebuster exists for a reason and I get it, I understand the need to be harsh to people who intentionally leave- but we need some kind of appeal process.

I also cannot play, avast didnt JUST quarintine the file. It freaking deleted it, so now i cant even get that file back so i can play league.

Hey guys, all you have to do is get a friend to send you the leagueoflegends.exe file, that is found C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.1.68\deploy it worked immediately

i just can login right when i want to start my launcher and is says i am missing the bugsplat.dll from my system but when i searched it up it was still there

I have tried everything to resolve this. I was playing just fine multiple games today, and now suddenly it is a virus and I cannot play at all. I have disabled the antivirus, I have restarted the computer and disabled the antivirus, I am going to get leaverbuster for this and it is bullshit.

HELP.

I remember the same thing with WoW a long time ago. Suddenly random people started having problems during a raid. Anti-virus false positive are pretty annoying lol

Yea if you open up avast's user interface go to settings and scroll down to exclusions. Then add C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\ * (don't space the asterisk for some reason the backslash won't show up unless I space it) to the list (if you installed it to the default location. It does not install to Program files for some reason). This will allow LoL past all scanning, filtering, and firewall rules. Takes two seconds and you won't have any more issues. Also make sure hardened mode is off as it can cause issues as well.

I got the same exact thing last night but instead of it being a [susp] it was a [pup]. I put a ticket into riot asking them if they know what that is and if that was the problem. still waiting on a response.

Can also attest to this happening. The solution for me was to go to my virus chest and just restore and add as an exception. Shouldn't try to block anymore.
