Game crashing roughly 2 minutes into match start

For the past two days I've tried to play league, it crashes as soon as the game starts up on the map. I get about 2 minutes of choosing my starting items, and walking forward and suddenly bam it's froze. I can't tab out or fix it when it does this, which is causing me to be flagged up by league as a game leaver. It was fine until the recent yorick update, I've only tried two aram games and both froze. It isn't my hardware, it was working until the update, and all the other functions of my laptop run smoothly. Is anyone else experiencing this?
