I haven't been able to find any specific reason why or when it bugs out. From what I can tell it's completely random. Just use ult at any time against another champion, 75% it will do nothing.
I play azir in 99% of ranked games, and this bug is crippling me. RITO PLEASE!
there is also the old bug that your soldiers dont hit the aa´s when you were out of range i think. feels like he got more useless than he was on the release. sad.

Riot you sack of patatas you should really look into this, I've also noticed WAY more bugs with Azir this patch. For the first time a Soldier AA failed (animation still played, he did not / was not expiring) but his ULT fails so often now, I expect it to fail. I don't know what conditions must be met for it to bug, but it happens. A lot. Please fix you sack fo patataqtas
Just got out of a loss with Azir. In the last big team fight, I hit three people with Emperor's Divide only to see nobody getting pushed. Not even around the Sun Disc turret, either, when I was trying to contain the enemy team. Until this is fixed, I'm gonna look at other options for mid.

After the 4.19 patch there is a issue with Azir's ult not blocking or knocking back champions. Last game I played, the ult failed to push back or block opposing champions that were moving. It happened against a Kat, a Yasou, and a Voli. They were moving toward me (Azir) on Summoners Rift when the ult was used and the opponents kept on walking and went right through the wall. The ult was far enough behind me and ahead of them to catch and push them away. All three champion glitches were at different times of the match. The wall did work correctly on non moving champs 1 or 2 times.

Riot, Azir is buggier than ever. This is crippling my Azir play. I've never had as many problems with his ult as it was been after this patch. On the plus side, great job on fixing his turret.
Hi, I am having these problems too. Azir ult is very unreliable atm and a source of frustration. Also the soldiers sometimes dont do damage still. usually after you move them
I can confirm that I am having this issue as well. Played versus a Riven and she would pass through the ultimate like no one's business. It worked fine numerous times vs LeBlanc, however. Stopping her W as intended.
his ult seems actually not knocking back (+ no damages) ennemy which does not move but still blocking other ennemy to pass through it once it is set up. Pls riot fix this up
Azir is like the most fun I've ever had with a mid laner. That's including Lux who I started playing League with, and Kata, my second favorite champ of all time just below Jinx... FIX HIM RITO FFS. it's like... what? the 8th time?
