[CLIENT] LoLPatcher takes 10 minutes to open on Mac OS X 10.9.4

When I opened LoL today I thought it wasn't working at first because the LoLLauncher appeared on the dashboard and when I clicked on it, a tiny tiny white pixel appeared in the middle of my screen. I tried reinstalling 3 times to no avail. Halfway through typing this bug report my LoLPatcher window finally appeared; I had left LoLLauncher open for the past 10 mins. Now waiting another 10 mins for my original client to open so I don't have to re-patch. Fix this please.

mine stopped at 50% its been 5 hrs

Hi this happened to me this morning. I clicked the lol icon on my doc. Didn't really show anything was happening for a bit then I could see the lol icon open up but showed a bar below the icon (download progress) I checked what my internet connection was doing using Istats menu. It was showing the launcher was downloading something (I figured an updated). Took a while for some reason but eventually the launcher opened up and installed patch. Took a while though.

Happens to me sometimes as well. Sometimes it doesn't open at all, and I have to re-install it after deleting it. This also happens when I try to open and download the PBE client
