Obtaining Relic shield when buying hunters machete?

While playing a ranked game as shyvana, i just clicked the recommended items (which are hunters machete, refillable potion, and the trinket). When I walked out of base, I found I had a relic shield instead of the machete i bought. I have no idea how I ended up with that since there is no relic shield on the entire shyvana recommended page. It is quite the hindrance since it prevented me from buying an actual jungle item, and I couldnt even clear 2 camps, since i was still lvl 1 at the second camp (without jgl item not enough xp). This bug was a rather large setback. I hope you will look into this bug so that it doesnt happen more often, so that no more people will lose ranked games because of this.
