5.14 messing up my gameplay

So a while ago i switched from using my PC to my MacBook because it could handle the features and run it normally. With 5.14's visual update it causes my game to freeze whenever I and another player simultaneously use our abilities. Is it only my computer or are there others with the similar problem. And how do I fix this?
