This morning, I started updating my LoL and after it updated I tried to login and i got this error 'Client version 6.1.16_01_20_13_46 is rejected by server.' I've searched online about the error and all it says is that I need to uninstall and install my game again, but my internet is very slow and I don't want to wait another 5 hours to update.
need to updated notice the 6.1 in the beginning..it must not of taken the update for some reason. close client and reopen and it should start patching if not see the "problems patching" in the patch notes
Other servers are also facing the same problem. I saw a comment suggested to repatch by clicking the '?' sign at the top right and followed by clicking "repair"(i forgot). Give it a try
