Volibear Passive Glitch

I was playing a ranked match recently, and at one point my Volibear passive went active as i died to a syndra ult burst. When i died, my passive ticked down, but the counter didn't display. Then after which, i noticed that from that point on, Voli's Passive didn't work. when i died to an enemy at one point, i checked to make sure my passive was on cooldown as it should have been, but it was not, It had never been used, and after waiting 2 minutes before another fight, i tried an engage, and my passive didn't activate again. For the rest of the game, Voli's passive didn't activate. So it seemed like if voli got bursted just as his passive activated, it glitched out for the rest of the game.
