Please fix ban system

I was about to ban some champions in Ranked. After first attempt to ban I clicked on Jax, and it was returning me "Attempting to recive data from server" message (might not have exact words in it). Later I tried again. and After 2 mins of waiting to recive data I got kicked of game saying that I failed to select champion of that match, After next attempt to play a game I got "Attempt to join queue failed" and I had to wait 5 mins before start. Like your sistem works if you dont select champion you loose LP + You got punished. What if you are not able to ban champion and you cant even start selecting your champion? Is that considered as punishment? If you think you can fix that issue okey however what about my LP that was lost in process of that bug?
