GP Barrel Didn't Damage TF?

For some reason this GP Barrel, which probably would have changed the dynamic of the fight, didn't damage the TF despite very clearly exploding directly atop him and the Caitlyn--who, I might add, was damaged by the barrel.

Any answers?

The only thing that I can think, which isn't a bug, is that the TF perfectly sits above the explosion of the first barrel and then walks just beneath the second barrel prior to it's explosion avoiding the damage altogether. However, is this intended or should it damage him nonetheless?
